Anisa, a third-semester STMIK “AMIKBANDUNG” student specializing in Informatics Engineering, won the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ IT Hardware 2020 competition on August 20, 2020. Anisa was able to compete in this competition by creating a temperature detector and room capacity counter since, in this epidemic age, technical advancements unquestionably assist human operations. This detector’s purpose is to expedite the process of monitoring people’s temperatures before they enter the room. This device is affixed to the entrance’s wall and automatically detects the temperature; if the temperature is over 38 degrees, the device will beep, indicating that suffocating individuals are barred from entering. In addition to automatically sensing the temperature, this program will also compute the room’s capacity in order to reduce the number of occupants.
