In order to prepare Indonesia’s golden generation for the future, the world of education now presents a number of obstacles. In the face of global competition, the future of education will include the use of technology. In order to support and usher in the age of the 4.0 industrial revolution and technological disruption, we must all become fully digital.
The development of ICT in education has a beneficial influence and presents a significant potential to maximize the enhancement of educational quality. In light of the present state of the Covid-19 epidemic, all agencies and stakeholders are urged to establish policies and initiatives using the potential of information technology.
Such conditions are inevitable, particularly for municipal authorities and educational institutions. Residents of the school also engage in adopting new habits, particularly utilizing technology to study. The digitalization of schools is thus a necessary future policy direction.
Therefore, the School Digitization Working Group of the Primary School Directorate continues to play an active role in offering programs and innovations so that all Indonesian primary school students have a greater understanding of the use and utilization of ICT in schools.
