Third Place in the 2019 Nutrifood Business Competition, Won by Ari Sumiati from STMIK “AMIKBANDUNG”

The Nutrifood Business Program 2019 with Gopay is an event designed to enhance the business abilities of Bandung’s millennials so that they may flourish in the face of intense industrial rivalry. The event, which took place at Upnormal Coffee Roaster Bandung (11/12/19), was attended by BEM and HIMA from thirty colleges in the city of Bandung. STMIK “AMIKBANDUNG” sent three individuals to the event: Ari Sumiati, Mia Dwi Cynthia, and Wisang Geni. These three students are majoring in Information Systems S1 and are active members of BEM and the STMIK Information System Student Association, “AMIKBANDUNG.”

This competition activity started with a lecture titled “Millenials to Act in Industry 4.0 and Digitalization for the Home Industry in 2019”. This session served as a briefing for participants in the two-month-long Business Competition (October to December 2019). This Company Competition consists of operating a firm on each campus and enhancing a business’s sales performance with the assistance of Nutrifood and Gopay. The objective of the 2019 Nutrifood Business Program with Gopay is to build and maintain relationships between companies and campuses as a bridge to develop business communication and share knowledge in making positive changes in society, Integrated community development alongside with the realization of adding social value and general development.

The STMIK “AMIKBANDUNG” team led by Ari Sumiati used the canteen as a business lab for penetrating the domestic industry, increasing the disclosure of useful projects through canteen activation, and using digital technology as a component to support daily and business activities by maximizing the products sold in the canteen. As a result, sales at the STMIK “AMIKBANDUNG” canteen increased by 200% over the course of two months. The STMIK “AMIKBANDUNG” team was able to get third place out of 30 institutions in Bandung, West Java, by developing a successful marketing plan to increase canteen sales.
