Student Executive Board (abbreviated BEM) or University Student Association is an intra-campus student organization (Ormawa) that functions as an executive institution at the college level. BEM often employs many divisions to carry out its projects.
STMIK BEM “AMIKBANDUNG” is a bridge between Ormawa, notably UKM, HMJ, and foundation institutions in the community. BEM’s primary responsibility is to ensure that campus student groups adhere to the Tridharma of Higher Education in their operations.
LKTM is a requirement for BEM management candidates who will serve throughout the set period. The AD/ART BEM STMIK “AMIKBANDUNG” guides LKTM. The events are intended to promote the Tridharma of Higher Education.
Educating BEM is one of the required activities for practicing the Tridharma of Higher Education, in which teaching and learning activities are conducted with high school / vocational / junior high school students in West Java. As a provision for students to cope with the growth of information and communication technology, BEM administrators are expected to instruct vocational/high school or junior high school students in the West Java area on the world of IT that they oversee.
The MID, also known as the Self-Integration Period, is a debriefing designed to prepare freshmen for real lectures. A lecturer will teach the same content as in the classroom. Typically, the taught content consists of facts regarding the educational system and personality development.
Typically, new students are also required to create and deliver their own assignments in order to familiarize them with the college assignment process. Don’t be afraid to ask questions regarding the lecture system during teaching and learning orientation so you don’t get confused during the real presentation.
In addition to orientation for teaching and learning, new students are exposed to campus life. This event is often hosted by older students on campus and attempts to enlighten freshmen about extracurricular opportunities.
New students are often assigned a number of activities that must be completed and turned in during the study session. Individual or group projects may include creating movies or interviewing older citizens.
