The STMIK “AMIKBANDUNG” student team of Fajar Ega Firmansyah, Fitra Agustina Umar, and Saeful Husna placed third in the national Software Development Competition TechComFest 2019 held in February 2019 at the Semarang State Polytechnic, Central Java, with the Android-based Hijaunesia application for renting ornamental plants.
“The Hijaunesia application is anticipated to assist small business owners in the rental and sale of decorative plants,” stated group leader Fajar Ega, who was joined by his supervisor Yuyun Tresnawati, M.Com.
The developed application includes decorative plant leasing services, consultancy, and knowledge exchange.
“Consultation from consumers to ornamental plant businesses is broader in scope than information exchange since it covers individuals who like ornamental plants,” he said.
According to Yuyun, this application is still in the development phase, and it is intended that the campus will offer stimulus funding for the development of the Hijaunesia application via the community service channel.
“If it is stable, we will upload it to the STMIK AMIK Bandung Play Store so that the public may download and install it,” he said.
“To begin with, I would want to offer my appreciation to Allah SWT, who has blessed my team with success. Consequently, I am really thankful to my supervisor, Mrs. Yuyun, for guiding the team during the tournament. We dedicate the team’s accomplishments to the STMIK AMIK Bandung campus and aim to continue to study and develop campus accomplishments in the future. Fajar Ega is the competition team’s leader.
